Mogadishu, Dhu al-Qi’dah 15, 1446 AH, corresponding to May 13, 2025 AD (SUNA) – King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) today, Tuesday, provided urgent aid, including food, clothing, and shelter supplies, to 564 families affected by the recent floods in Daynile District in the capital, Mogadishu.
The aid, which was implemented in coordination with the National Disaster Management and Relief Agency, the local Social Solidarity Association, and the Daynili District Administration, came in response to urgent needs caused by heavy rains that swept through parts of Banadir region.
Mohammed Sheikh Abdi of the Solidarity Association confirmed that the distribution process will continue to cover approximately 21,090 families in nine districts within the Banadir region. Hassan Mahmoud, deputy director of the Relief Department in Denile, described the aid as timely and contributing to alleviating the suffering of those affected and displaced.
